Further lack of backgrounds; mind you, I have an excuse this time (s'gonna' be used for some graphics online...backgrounds would be edited out and wasted). Annnnd...a chimera. A variety peculiar to Suikoden 3, and an interesting one besides. Chimerae are difficult to work with, I find - fitting that many heads onto the front of an animal just does not want to happen. Really it doesn't. Then you have to change the body to make it look balanced...yeeshs.

I wanted a Chimera for Christmas but my dad bought me a pony instead >;P

Hee hee, excellent use of the anatomy, like you said, very hard to get it looking plausable - but everything looks in top shape ^^

Yay, first comment ever on dA ;) You know I love this piece lots. It just... so gorgeously captures a very beautiful creature. You should add to your comments here what you wrote about it on our forum, because if anyone who knows the game wanders in I think they would really appreciate how you related the Chimerae to the Grasslands as a whole.

I lurve chimeras, but I have only succeeded once in drawing one and I think I lost the pic. o-o I like the... Copperhead? Schpoofy.
